So as I mentioned yesterday, the weather in NYC this week has been amazing. The forecast originally called for lots of rain, clouds and thunderstorms all week, but the only day it really rained was yesterday. There were a couple hours in the afternoon where the sky looked really scary, but by the time happy hour began the rain stopped.

Easter was no exception. It was in the mid 70s during the afternoon so Greg and I went into Manhattan to hang out with Greg's brother and nephew (who is the cutest baby everrrrr). We went to a park by the Hudson River to watch the little guy run around and play in the sand box.

After playtime Greg and I went and saw The Conspirator, which is about the assassination of Abraham Lincoln and the trial and eventual hanging of Mary Surratt. The history of the country during that time is so interesting, but overall the movie was kind of... meh. The website says it was shot in Savannah, but you wouldn't know by watching it. It felt like sets and CGI, but maybe I'm just biased because of my fanatic boyfriend. Anyway, go see it for the history because that part is what's the most interesting about the film!

What Im really looking forward to is the Lincoln biopic starring Daniel Day Lewis as the man himself. There is little info about, but I THAT is going to be amazing.

I hope you all had a good week and an excellent Easter if you celebrated!
