Necklace: Heirloom from my Gammy
Rings: Solid band - who knows! Pyramid Ring - Dalaga
Skirt: Steven Alan sample sale
Tote: Libris Lunaria
This is what I wore on Saturday. I had serious success at the Steven Alan sample sale and this skirt is one of the three things I purchased. I've lived in New York for almost two years now and Friday was the first time I had ever been to one of their sample sales. I used to think of them as this mad house of people rummaging through bins half naked in their undies fighting over the last size 4. Turns out it's really not that bad. In fact, it was pretty darn organized!
There was a brief break in the horrible weather (it's been raining for over a week now) so Greg and I took advantage by walking around Bushwick, Williamsburg and Greenpoint. We both want to buy bikes this season, so we stopped by a couple shops for research purposes. The research yielded these results: I need to save more money before buying a bike. Ha!
I was also really excited to use my Libris Lunaria fox tote! I just adore Frankie and everything she does. This tote definitely turned a couple heads, which made me feel super special - like it was made just for me. It also fits an amazing amount of stuff, including this Forestbound pouch which I purchased at Mass Market ages and ages ago. Actually, now that I think about it, I'm pretty sure it was the first time I came across Francesca and Alice! They were sharing a booth - Francesca selling vintage clothing and Alice selling her hand made bags. Thinking about that puts a big smile on my face.
