Mountain Men

Mountain Men seem to be the perfect end of Summer soundtrack for me at the moment. Maybe it's because these ladies are from Vermont and anything regarding New England tugs at my roots and heart strings, but there is definitely something haunting about their songs. A little country, but also a little camping. The kind of songs you would want to sing or listen to around a fire as dusk rolls in, camping among pine trees as Summer fades away into Fall. The Guardian calls them "female Fleet Foxes" and I guess that's fair enough.

Enjoy :)

I love Mountain Man! Have you looked up them singing 'how'm I doing' live? Its the bomb, they seem like such lovely people!

I'm venturing onto your blog for the first time, so far so good! I'm only, what, three or four posts in and I've been compelled to make a comment. Pretty good!
