Getting Warmer

This photo is about a week old, but it's one of my favorite outfits right now so I figured, why not!

It's so funny how much the weather (and your clothing) can change in one week. This weekend was insanely beautiful and warm (in the 80s!) and this outfit with tights would have made me far to hot! The weather change made me realize that I am not 100% ready to bare my legs, but I can't wear tights all summer, so I'm going to have to take the plunge eventually. Another funny thing I've found is I am more comfortable wearing shorter hemlines during the winter because I can cover up my legs with a pair of tights. They make any outfit a little more conservative where as the same thing without tights feels slightly racy even though it's more seasonally appropriate. Goes to show there really are no rules about fashion I suppose!

I need to wear bike shorts or cropped tights or SOMETHING of the like all summer now if I'm on my bike. Not sure how to handle the situation.

as silly as this might sound... i actually saw some special, wicking material spanx (tiny body smoothing under garments) in the newest people magazine: style watch. you should look through the magazine if youre in cvs or something! they would be perfect for bike riding in skirts and dresses.
