New Bike!

I said to myself, "Bite the bullet, Liz! It's now or never!" I took a deep breath, slept on it and then took the plunge and purchased a bike! Happy birthday to myself. I decided on a Linus Roadster Classic in cream. It's be a really long time since I rode a bike so I'm still a little nervous on it, but I'm sure it will be no time until I'm settled in.

Greg got a bike too, which has been a two year process for him. He had a bike custom made for him - matte black with hot pink underneath so when it chipped flecks of hot pink paint would show up - and it was stolen maybe 6 months after he got it. He's been in mourning ever since. Well, he's finally healed and he also got a bike this weekend! We're both really excited to have finally made these purchases as it's been a long time coming.

I can't wait to ride it to work tomorrow!

how sad about your boyfriend's bike, thats the worst. i'm thinking about being all crazy lady and putting a gps inside of the seat tube.

I suspect there's a bike in my future (at least once I move into the city). I can't believe your boyfriend's got stolen just 6 months after he got it! Ugh, terrible.

Your outfit is pretty much my perfect summer look. I'm especially digging those Worishofers!

Welcome back to cycling! I got back into it since not having cycled since I was a kid last year. I have an adorable bike with a basket whose brakes and gears don't work but I love it all the same.
